While the world moves faster than an F1 car, Santa and his reindeer are still stuck in the North Pole circa 1930. Bring the whole Christmas crew into the present (or future) in a greeting card and win more than US$2500 in cash!
Christmas cards are OLD FASHIONED! Santa as we know him, and his motley crew of elves and venison have largely stayed the same for the past 50 years. With the world moving as fast as it does, we see no reason to reimagine Christmas for the 21st (or even the 30th) century. Design a card around your imagining of how a modern OR futuristic christmas should be, and at the end of the contest, we'll upload the designs for public voting to pick the winner of more than US$2500 in cash!
Please keep in mind that we'll be keeping an extra sharp eye on not just design, but card themes that make use of the theme. Also, in particular for this category, please BE EXTRA WARY OF USING COPYRIGHTED CHARACTERS OR LIKENESSES. If you're not sure what constitutes fair use of a copyrighted character, read this. If you're still not sure after that, then it's probably best not to use one. Aside from that, the usual Foldees rule of strictly vector art only applies as usual. Please note that from this contest onwards, LIVE TRACING IS NOT ALLOWED.
